P.S. Those of you who did not receive a package (for whatever reason that may be) should keep an eye on your mailbox. Expect a little something me as consolation.
P.P.S. I do apologize for not being able to share photos of everyone's swap experience. I was not able to secure images for every person's gift. However, if you don't see your May Day swap gift here and want it to be included, let me and your respective partner know. I'm always eager to go back and add in a photo or two!

from Heidi to Ioana
from Ioana to Elisabetta
from Elisabetta to Jess
from Jess to Margherita
from Margherita to Antonella
from Blaire to Michelle
from Leslie to Sacha

from Zoë to Ty (We each sent him a package, mostly for our own amusement. This package was, as Zoë described, a "mailable inside joke.")
from Zoë to me (A combined May Day basket/birthday present. There are kitten stickers, you guys. And glittery horses. GLITTER HORSES, I tell you. Also, "Let's Pretend This Never Happened" is amazing and amusing and poignant and hilarious and full of curse words.)
from me to Sarah V. (The package included a wind-up rabbit, a ring I made from vintage buttons, magnets I made from vintage earrings and buttons, and a card designed by a local artist. I also sent her classic, old-time candy sticks, a handful of cookies, and a button/pin from Cordial Kitten.)
from Kayla to Meagan
from Meagan to Sarah L.
And a few more things I sent out. To my co-hosts. To Sarah V. To Zoë. Just because.

How cool to see all of the different packages sent! Thanks again for putting this together.

ReplyDeleteEveryone received such fun and thoughtful gifts. I love my items from Antonella! Thanks for organizing this Dawn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! Loved how you put the photos in round-robin order, just like the format of the swap. Thanks so much for organizing a wonderful event, too.
ReplyDeleteDid Leslie not get a package? I didn't see a photo and it makes me sad to think that she was jilted after she extended her thoughtfulness to me. I did send her a thank-you note. :-)
I blogged about my swap experience here: http://shouldhavezagged.wordpress.com/2013/05/15/may-day-springtime-swap-goods/
I am really blown away by all these beautiful gifts! Everything is so pretty! Thanks for putting this all together, Dawn! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSuch fun to see all of the spring goodies swapped! I enjoyed creating papery treats for Heather, and I was delighted to receive all of Hilary's thoughtful gifts which traveled all the way from New Zealand to California! Her timing was perfect...her package arrived on May Day. : ) Thank you so much, Dawn, for coordinating this swap, & you can count me in for the ornament swap during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteI've tried sending a comment on here a million times! Glad to have participated in this swap!
