fall in the fly-overs

The weather is quickly changing. Glorious fall days have turned gray, gloomy. There is often drizzle, and the droplets of water collect on my glasses and skin when I go outside. The crunch of leaves has faded a bit--the atmosphere is chilly, and the air is a potpourri of damp earth, burning leaves and pumpkin-spice candles. This is my favorite time of year--bonfires, thickly-crocheted blankets, yellows and oranges and reds. Even my favorite university, my favorite campus, is afire with changing weather and campus activities. ... including a "Gangnam Style" flash mob.

Sometimes, I still miss college.

  1. Oh! I've got a thing for the flyovers, too. So glad I happened here this morning. You have captured some lovely, lovely scenes, and I completely understand your last sentence. :)
